The idea of Wizplex took shape on April, 2017 when we begun importing first generation Beyblades in a market saturated with fakes and over-priced originals. Towards the end of July of the same year, we diversified into action figures with the aim to bring to the Indian consumers, wide array of licensed products spanning several movies and TV shows that we today watch.
It was then that we decided to go solo with Funko, USA – The world’s largest maker of licensed Bobble-head and Pop Vinyl figures. Over the course of the next few months, we built a thriving market for Funko figures. On February 8, 2018, Funko awarded us with Exclusive All-India rights to distribute all their products in the Indian territory.
In April 2018, we expanded our portfolio by adding licensed & premium Die-cast models of classic vintage cars under the brand name “Road Signature”, produced by LDC, Hong Kong. Wizplex became the first ever company to offer one of the largest range of cars at a price tag that finally allowed most of the Indian collectors and fans to expand their treasured collection.
In our quest to bring more options to the Indian consumer, we secured All India Exclusive Rights for Eaglemoss, UK in September, 2018. Eaglemoss allows Wizplex to offer premium statues spanning several entertainment licenses to the consumer. Yet again, at a price tag that was unheard of till our entry in this space.
The core idea behind Wizplex is to bring to India a wide array of quality International products at a value for money price point.
Over the last one year, we have consistently strived to delight the Indian consumers like never before. It has been an incredible journey in an Industry that is just taking birth in India and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for us, the industry and India.
